Okay, today I’m writing about something new and different. Are you ready….AFFIRMATIONS!
The way these work, is to find some privacy and read the entire page aloud.
What are Affirmations?
Daily affirmations are simple and positive statements that help keep your conscious and unconscious mind focused on a positive direction. They can help you make changes to your personal life, give you positive energy and change your internal voice (aka “self talk”) from negative to positive.
Many famous people have used affirmations and said they were key to their success. The idea is simple, by saying how you want things to be, you help your mind focus on a positive direction and it helps you to change your beliefs from where you are to where you want to be.
Some people think if you do them in front of a mirror and make eye contact with yourself, they are more effective. These are called “mirror affirmations” and this is exactly how I do them too!
And today, because it’s Sunday, is #SelfCareSunday! And today’s affirmations are about taking care of yourself.

Self Care Affirmations #SelfCareSunday
I take care of my own needs.
I am the master of my own life. It is invigorating and freeing to recognize that I have complete control over how I experience life. Because I am a strong person, I make sure to prioritize my own self care and to look after my own needs.
Although I have an independent nature, taking care of some of my needs might require asking others for assistance. When I know that I need help, I ask for it without hesitation. I am smart enough to realize when the input of others can assist me to achieve my goals, and I reach out to friends, family and colleagues as needed.
Today, knowing I can take care of myself brings contentment to my life. Developing self-awareness about my capacity to take care of my own needs ensures I can continue to do so in the future.
My life is fulfilling and adventurous and taking care of my own needs gives me the energy I need to live the life I want to live!
