Life after the operation seemed bleak to Dr. Joe Dispenza. He did not want to spend the rest of his life attached to a wheelchair, at the mercy of people around him. For him, there was only one way to heal himself; to become consciously aware of his healing process.

Disregarding the medical advice that would bind him for a lifetime, he spent 3 months healing his injury, mentally and physically.
